Ready to Open respects your privacy and handles personal information carefully and transparently.


1. Who we are

Sir Hummus VOF is responsible for the processing of personal information described in this privacy policy.

2. What information we collect

Depending on how you contact or work with Ready to Open, we may collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your company or business name

  • Information about your hospitality concept or project

  • Your intended location, neighbourhood or project address

  • Your expected opening date and current project stage

  • Messages, documents and information you provide to us

  • Appointment and meeting information

  • Correspondence relating to your enquiry or assignment

  • Information required to prepare quotations, agreements and invoices

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry or assignment.


3. How we receive your information

We may receive personal information when you:

  • Complete a form on readytoopen.nl

  • Send an email to Ready to Open

  • Book a meeting through the scheduling tool on our website

  • Request a quotation

  • Enter into an agreement with Ready to Open

  • Provide information during a meeting or assignment

  • Are introduced by a professional partner or mutual contact

When someone introduces you to Ready to Open, we use the information provided only in connection with that introduction and any resulting communication.


4. Why we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries

  • Assess whether Ready to Open can assist with a project

  • Arrange and conduct introductory calls and meetings

  • Prepare quotations and agreements

  • Perform agreed services

  • Communicate about project decisions, planning and delivery

  • Maintain appropriate project and business records

  • Issue and administer invoices

  • Protect the website and prevent misuse

  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims

  • Comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations

Ready to Open does not sell personal information.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.


5. Legal grounds for processing

Depending on the situation, we process personal information because:

  • It is necessary to respond to your request or take steps before entering into an agreement

  • It is necessary to perform an agreement with you

  • It is necessary to comply with a legal obligation

  • Ready to Open has a legitimate business interest, such as maintaining project records, protecting the business or improving its services

  • You have given consent, where consent is specifically required

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.



6. Service providers

Ready to Open uses selected service providers to operate the website and communicate with potential and existing clients.

These currently include:

  • Framer, for website hosting, website forms and aggregated website analytics

  • Calendly, for appointment scheduling through the booking widget embedded on our contact page

  • Providers of business email, calendar, document and storage services

  • Accounting, legal, insurance and other professional advisers where necessary

These providers may process personal information on behalf of Ready to Open in order to provide their services.

Information may also be shared with architects, contractors, suppliers, advisers or other project participants where this is necessary for an agreed assignment. Project information will not be shared more widely than reasonably necessary.


7. International data transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area.

Where this happens, the relevant provider is expected to use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard permitted under applicable data-protection law.


8. How long we retain information

Ready to Open does not retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary.

We generally use the following retention periods:

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment: up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact

  • Appointment and introductory-call information: up to 12 months after the appointment

  • Client and project correspondence: for the duration of the assignment and generally up to 5 years afterwards

  • Quotations and agreements: generally up to 7 years where they form part of the financial or business administration

  • Invoices and financial records: at least 7 years, in accordance with Dutch tax and administration requirements

  • Information relating to a dispute or legal claim: for as long as reasonably necessary to manage that matter

Information may be deleted earlier when it is no longer needed and no legal requirement prevents its deletion.


9. Website analytics, cookies and embedded tools

Readytoopen.nl is built and hosted using Framer.

Framer’s built-in analytics provide aggregated information such as page visits, traffic sources and general website activity. Framer states that its built-in analytics do not use cookies or persistent identifiers.

Ready to Open does not use advertising pixels or behavioural advertising tools on readytoopen.nl.

Scheduling widget. Our contact page contains an embedded Calendly booking widget. When this widget loads, Calendly may place cookies and process information (such as your IP address and the details you enter when booking) under its own responsibility. Calendly’s own privacy practices apply to this processing; see Calendly’s privacy policy for details. If you prefer not to use the widget, you can contact us by email instead.

Embedded videos (coming soon). Ready to Open plans to add short videos to the website, hosted on YouTube. These will be set up so that no YouTube content or cookies load until you actively click to play a video, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode where possible. When you play a video, Google/YouTube may place cookies and process information under its own responsibility; Google’s privacy policy applies. This section will be updated when the videos go live.

If Ready to Open later adds other services that use non-essential cookies, the website’s privacy and cookie information will be updated and consent will be requested where required.


10. Security

Ready to Open takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and improper disclosure.

No form of electronic communication or storage can guarantee absolute security.


11. Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Ask which personal information we hold about you

  • Receive a copy of your personal information

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Request deletion of your information

  • Request restriction of processing

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests

  • Receive information you provided in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We may ask for information necessary to confirm your identity. Some requests cannot be fulfilled completely where information must be retained to comply with a legal obligation, perform an agreement or establish or defend a legal claim.


12. Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern about how your information is handled. We will try to resolve the matter properly.

You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.


13. Third-party websites

The Ready to Open website may link to third-party websites, booking platforms and social-media services.

Ready to Open is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy information before providing personal information through their services.


14. Changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy may be updated when Ready to Open changes its services, website tools or data-processing practices, or when applicable requirements change.

The most recent version will always be published on readytoopen.nl with the date of the latest update.
